Diagnostic image processing program miniIRIS allows you to capture medical images and save them on your computer The program allows you to view, analyze, process and archive diagnostic images from medical devices equipped with a video camera (e.g. endoscope, microscope, videocolposcope, slit lamp, ultrasound).

Benefits of using miniIRIS

Increasing the accuracy of diagnosis

By using filters, you can extract information that is not visible in the original images recorded by the device. Depending on the type of tissue being imaged, the imaging mode and imaging devices, different filter settings are used to extract the most important information.

Security of collected data

Archiving the database allows for securing data against permanent loss. Database backups are stored in a location specified by the user – on the local disk, local network, or external drives.

More efficient working time

Thanks to the ability to search the database in patient records, there is no need to enter patient data during each visit, and reporting allows you to monitor changes.

Recording diagnostic images in the form of photos and video sequences

  • saving and reading images in various formats (TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF),
  • recording video sequences and editing selected frames,
  • control of medical devices using a foot button,
  • viewing and analyzing images in the program regardless of device operation.

An optimal set of functions and tools for processing diagnostic images

  • digital filters (cobalt, red, green, blue and grayscale),
  • histogram stretching,
  • sharpening and smoothing,
  • edge detection,
  • separation of channels and manipulation of their components (red, green, blue),
  • median,
  • enlargement and reduction (+/- 10%),
  • brightness and contrast adjustment,
  • measurement of distances, areas and perimeters.

Maintaining patient records

  • entering, editing and viewing personal data,
  • information about saved photos and videos and the dates they were taken,
  • searching the patient database according to selected criteria.

Visit reports

  • ability to create reports containing key diagnostic images from several medical devices,
  • creating reports from subsequent visits enabling easier monitoring of changes,
  • depending on your needs, reports can be saved in the program or on disk, printed or sent to the patient by e-mail.
